The Product

Tovie is a Pedal-to-Play bike for kids ages six and up, built around the science of regulation. Pedaling gives the nervous system the kind of input that helps a child burn energy and find their calm, and the games and lights respond to the pedaling itself, so exercise turns into play. A Pedal-to-Watch mode connects to YouTube so screen time becomes active time. Rounded edges, adjustable straps, and parent controls for game length, sounds, lights, and intensity make it at home in a classroom, a living room, or a suitcase.

The Problem

Kids who struggle to sit still, focus, or settle after a big feeling do not need another screen or another timeout. They need movement that works with their bodies. Tovie's bet is that the right kind of physical input, wrapped in something a child actually wants to use, helps them self-regulate and gives parents and teachers a tool that is not a fight.

What Eight Bit Is Building

Eight Bit is working with the Tovie team on the software side of the product: the companion app that connects to the bike, the parent experience that keeps the controls in adult hands, and the game experiences that make pedaling something kids come back to. The work is in development alongside the hardware, so this page will grow as the product does.
