Ask anyone who is looking for a job or is apart of the hiring process. Resumes are broken. The application process is broken. The idea that one or two interviews will determine whether you are a good candidate for a career opportunity is broken. This is a disservice to the hiring manager, the recruiters and the job candidates themselves.
The founders of BetterWeekdays have had enough and are attacking the problem head on. Starting with top-tier MBA professionals, their new site is creating a social network focused on leadership development, relevant connections, and career enhancement to encourage people to have better weekdays!
Using a proprietary algorithm, linkedin and facebook integrations, assessment information and some secret sauce, the site works much more like a matching site than a "job board". It challenges us to be SMARTER about the hiring process by serving up relevant connections.
